Spain’s largest nudist beach with naked bar


Before in a lonely environment, this lighthouse is now at the beginning of a busy promenade full of tourists, who come every year to one of the most famous beaches in Gran Canaria. Located in the best brunch in old san juan municipality of Alcudia is one of the most beautiful beaches of Mallorca. It is a beach in the middle of nature, of large dimensions where you will find your place to sunbathe and bathe naked.

Visitors from every other country will have to apply for a Schengen visa. Playa del Pozo is the eighth beach of the Papagayo beaches. Entrance by car is 3 euros, the free option includes a 45-minute hike. The best way to access is via the stairs in Torre-Nueva. Some people say that it’s always a good time to visit Spain. That means you can hit the beach, grab a drink at a patio ond then go out for dinner — all in the nude.

The resort has only two rental cabins which are comfortable and well equipped. Camping El Portus provides a natural area for naturists just south of Cartagena. The camping received quite some negative reviews over the last years but since 2019 the place has been cleaned up and the sanitary blocks renewed. El Portus has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a sauna and direct access to the nude beach.

Nudist bathing is permitted on the island and there are many options to choose from. From the lighthouse and heading towards the dunes along the shore we arrive at Punta de Maspalomas, where Playa del Inglés begins. On this tour, the nudist area begins between the beach bar 3 and 4, and there are also less crowded and isolated spaces where you can also do naturism. Located in the natural park of Arta near Cala Matzoc, it is a very popular sandy beach. And, the Vera Playa Club is the first naturist hotel in Spain – it even has a swimming pool if you don’t want to take your clothes off on the beach. Apartment Luna is a one-bedroom apartment in the naturist complex of Charco del Palo.

The right to dress as you see fit is enshrined in the Spanish constitution, and theoretically you can be naked on any beach, or indeed in any public place. In practice, if you walk starkers down a busy High Street the Guardia Civil just might invite you to get dressed. Some naturist beaches are officially designated and signposted as such by local councils. The Spanish Tourist Board estimates that around 1.5 million tourists visit Spain every summer with the express aim of practicing naturism. To this number can be added the estimated half a million Spaniards who habitually or occasionally enjoying sunbathing in the buff.

All houses are fully equipped and have wifi, airco and satellite TV. The nude beach is never more than 100 meters away and it’s perfectly fine to walk nude from your house to the beach. Guests of the Casa Veratense or the Casa Cielo Azul can also enjoy a communal swimming pool. Gaia Portus is a small naturist in the heart of the natural park La Muela. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and all day amazing views.
